For ticketed events in the ACPA, the CenterTix Box Office opens 90 minutes prior to event curtain times and will remain open through intermission (or 30 minutes after curtain time when there is no intermission and for Voth Hall events).
During these extended hours, the box office will handle business for shows performing that same day only.

Scared Scriptless is Alaska's premier improv comedy troupe (ir)regularly performing in Anchorage Alaska every second Saturday of the month since May 2000. Live improv has a heightened intensity, a voyeuristic glee that comes from watching comedy without a net. A close-contact brand of improv, as fast and furious as a video game, with words and movements thrown out in a continuous mix of voices, accents and energetic motions. You just have to see it – and luckily, locally, you can.

Chicago City Limits, New York City's legendary improv comedy group, has thrilled audiences for nearly thirty years with its unique style of sketch comedy, musical theater and audience inspired improvisations, creating a truly hilarious live performance experience. This avant-garde, unorthodox show is part comedy, part performance art and part wacky science experiment, accompanied by a percussion driven soundtrack. The performers never utter a word, but instead use their eyes, facial expressions and subtle gestures to evoke responses from the audience. Although really it is almost impossible to describe, people of all ages agree that Blue Man Group's show is an intensely exciting and wildly outrageous experience that leaves the entire audience in a blissful, euphoric state.
