Embracing a wide spectrum of choral music, ranging from classical choral masterworks to contemporary popular pieces, the 160-member chorus pays tribute to America through song.
The holidays are all about tradition and the BEST tradition is the Family Holiday Pops. The Anchorage Concert Chorus and the Holiday Pops Orchestra present a concert of traditional hymns, familiar holiday songs and a few surprises. Bring your family, sit back, relax and enjoy the holiday season.
Leonard Bernstein wrote this story of disillusion, discovery and belief for the opening of the Kenndy Center in 1971. This work mixes elements of classical music with jazz, pop, blues and rock. Leonard Bernstein's MASS is rarely performed due to the enormity of the production. Don't miss the Alaska premiere of this monumental piece.
