For ticketed events in the ACPA, the CenterTix Box Office opens 90 minutes prior to event curtain times and will remain open through intermission (or 30 minutes after curtain time when there is no intermission and for Voth Hall events).
During these extended hours, the box office will handle business for shows performing that same day only.

The ASO opens the season with Beethoven’s transcendent Symphony No. 5. It begins with the most recognizable motif in music literature and ends with a euphoric conclusion, speaking directly to the heart. Plus, one of Alaska’s favorite pianists, Timothy Smith takes center stage for Liszt’s virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 2.

Quickly becoming a phenomenon with Anchorage Symphony fans, the silent film concert is back! Silent film equals spine-tingling fun as the ASO presents two classics! Buster Keaton's short film, Haunted House opens the evening with a bank heist, framed banker (Keaton) and a "haunted" hideaway. Then, a mad, disfigured composer seeks love with a young opera singer in the 1925 version of Phantom of the Opera.
Enter an ethereal world where literary heroes are celebrated and tales are chronicled through music. From Debussy’s impressionistic “Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun” to the Bard’s romantic “Midsummer Night’s Dream” this concert immerses listeners into a spellbinding, fantastical state of mind.

Mozart brings smiles with the effortless spark of Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. Then, ASO principal oboe Sharman Piper takes center stage for a charming and poignant concerto, Down a River of Time. The genius of Brahms closes the evening as his Serenade No. 1 wraps us in lyric beauty.
