Starring Kate Egan. A fantasia on the life of Florence Foster Jenkins - a wealthy socialite who, despite a famously-flawed sense of pitch, tempo and key, became tremendously popular in Philadelphia and New York during the early 1900s. A heartfelt, wickedly funny look at self-perception and friendship.

Troubled Athabascan teenager Duane "Shadow" David is plotting to commit suicide when he's sentenced to cut wood for elder Sidney Huntington. Combining the elder's hunting knowledge with the boy's video game expertise is the only way they stand a chance against a marauding Winter Bear. Written by former Alaska Writer Laureate Anne Hanley and directed by Jayne Wenger, The Winter Bear explores the causes of suicide through the prism of Athabascan culture.
Presented in conjunction with ASSIMILATION by Jack Dalton. These two world premieres are compelling plays that will spark appreciation of Alaskan Native values and culture.

From the mind of Alaska's foremost Native storyteller comes a play that asks the question: Is it right to do a good thing in a bad way? Taking place in an unknown time, Earth is not as we know it. Three white students are attending a Native boarding school, where the Native teacher and administrator are doing everything they can to assimilate them, to make them give up their "heathen and godless" white ways, and become "real human beings."
