Special guest Ranger Danger and the Danger Ranger is one of the most decorated two-man improv teams in Los Angeles.
Abbott had Costello. Martin had Lewis. Luis Cortes and Drew Coolidge have to settle for each other. These veteran improvisers and best friends seem to share one comedic mind as they explore a multitude of ideas and characters in their trade-mark conversational style.
With a combined 25 years of experience, they have been playing together for the last 9. They've studied at the Upright Citizen's Brigade, IOWest, and ComedySportz, and have performed and taught all across the U.S. from Chicago to Texas, Minnesota to Alaska.
Scared Scriptless Improv
Scared Scriptless Improv is Alaska's premier improv comedy troupe (ir)regularly performing in Anchorage Alaska every second and fourth Saturday of the month since May 2000. Live improv has a heightened intensity, a voyeuristic glee that comes from watching comedy without a net. A close-contact brand of improv, as fast and furious as a video game, with words and movements thrown out in a continuous mix of voices, accents and energetic motions. You just have to see it – and luckily, locally, you can.
Scared Scriptless Improv SECRET SATURDAYS (3rd Saturdays)
Scared Scriptless' 3rd Saturday performance is NEW TO 2014 - The 3rd Saturday of every month is now Scared Scriptless "Secret Saturdays"! A different format each month, it could be long-form improv, musical improv, puppet improv, an improv cagematch or who knows what else! It's always fresh and always different. Some of the edgiest improv you will see in Alaska provided by Alaska's most experienced comedy improv troupe.
