Events:
For ticketed events in the ACPA, the CenterTix Box Office opens 90 minutes prior to event curtain times and will remain open through intermission (or 30 minutes after curtain time when there is no intermission and for Voth Hall events).
During these extended hours, the box office will handle business for shows performing that same day only.
Pianist Alexander Zlatkovski presents a new program from his series “Tales from the Keyboard”. The program "Songs of Exiles: Gypsy and Jewish Music (part two)" includes piano arrangements of lively klezmer melodies; lyrical Yiddish and Israeli songs; and exciting music of Hungarian, Spanish and Russian Gypsies. Among the highlights are “Ritual Fire Dance” by Manuel de Falla; one of Brahms’ “Hungarian Dances”; and a Yiddish song with the bizarre name (and an even more bizarre story behind it) “Seven Forty”... As usual, Alexander will not only play the songs, but will also share interesting facts, anecdotes and personal reflections about them. Expect to be both educated and entertained!
DAY OF SHOW: CenterTix will stop selling tickets on April 4 at 12:00 PM. Will call and any remaining tickets will be available at the door one (1) hour prior to curtain.
